So when the Samaritans came to him, they began asking ¹  him to stay with them. ²  He stayed there two days,

Your father Abraham was overjoyed ¹  to see my day, and he saw it and was glad.” ² 

(Now the day on which Jesus made the mud ¹  and caused him to see ²  was a Sabbath.) ³ 

So when he heard that Lazarus ¹  was sick, he remained in the place where he was for two more days.

When ¹  Jesus arrived, ²  he found that Lazarus ³  had been in the tomb four days already. ⁴ 

Martha said, ¹  “I know that he will come back to life again ²  in the resurrection at the last day.”

So Jesus said, “Leave her alone. She has kept it for the day of my burial. ¹ 

For ¹  John baptized with water, but you ²  will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Now ¹  when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.

In spite of what you think, these men are not drunk, ¹  for it is only nine o’clock in the morning. ² 

So those who accepted ¹  his message ²  were baptized, and that day about three thousand people ³  were added. ⁴ 

And all the prophets, from Samuel and those who followed him, have spoken about and announced ¹  these days.

And every day both in the temple courts ¹  and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the good news ²  that Jesus was the Christ. ³ 

and after taking some food, his strength returned. For several days ¹  he was with the disciples in Damascus,

At that time ¹  she became sick ²  and died. When they had washed ³  her body, ⁴  they placed it in an upstairs room.

but ¹  God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ² 

So he gave orders to have them baptized ¹  in the name of Jesus Christ. ²  Then they asked him to stay for several days.

At daybreak ¹  there was great consternation ²  among the soldiers over what had become of Peter.

On a day determined in advance, Herod ¹  put on his royal robes, ²  sat down on the judgment seat, ³  and made a speech ⁴  to them.

At daybreak ¹  the magistrates ²  sent their police officers, ³  saying, “Release those men.”
