But the things God foretold ¹  long ago through ²  all the prophets – that his Christ ³  would suffer – he has fulfilled in this way.

Then Paul ¹  went back upstairs, ²  and after he had broken bread and eaten, he talked with them ³  a long time, until dawn. Then he left.

Therefore keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God ¹  that it will be just as I have been told.

There ¹  we found ²  some brothers ³  and were invited to stay with them seven days. And in this way we came to Rome. ⁴ 

So you too consider yourselves ¹  dead to sin, but ²  alive to God in Christ Jesus.

so we who are many are one body in Christ, and individually we are members who belong to one another.

And in this way I desire to preach where Christ has not been named, so as not to build on another person’s foundation,

If someone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss. ¹  He himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

Because of the impending crisis I think it best for you to remain as you are.

If you sin against your brothers or sisters ¹  in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.

In the same way the Lord commanded those who proclaim the gospel to receive their living by the gospel.

A person should examine himself first, ¹  and in this way ²  let him eat the bread and drink of the cup.

It is the same with you. Since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, ¹  seek to abound in order to strengthen the church.

Thus ¹  we urged ²  Titus that, just as he had previously begun this work, ³  so also he should complete this act of kindness ⁴  for you.

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one ¹  who called you by the grace of Christ ²  and are following ³  a different ⁴  gospel –

So also we, when we were minors, ¹  were enslaved under the basic forces ²  of the world.

But as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Be imitators of me, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  and watch carefully those who are living this way, just as you have us as an example.

So then, my brothers and sisters, ¹  dear friends whom I long to see, my joy and crown, stand in the Lord in this way, my dear friends!
