So ¹  he got up ²  and went. There ³  he met ⁴  an Ethiopian eunuch, ⁵  a court official of Candace, ⁶  queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasury. He ⁷  had come to Jerusalem to worship, ⁸ 

Who is the one who will condemn? Christ ¹  is the one who died (and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.

For this reason, I have sent Timothy to you, who is my dear and faithful son in the Lord. He will remind you of my ways in Christ, ¹  as I teach them everywhere in every church.

And whoever does not take up his cross ¹  and follow me is not worthy of me.

And whoever welcomes ¹  a child like this in my name welcomes me.

It must not be this way among you! Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,

Now ¹  when it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who was also a disciple of Jesus. ² 

For whoever does the will of God is ¹  my brother and sister and mother.”

He lived among the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain.

So ¹  he told them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

But it is not this way among you. Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,

They ¹  said to her, “But ²  none of your relatives bears this name.” ³ 

A centurion ¹  there ²  had a slave ³  who was highly regarded, ⁴  but who was sick and at the point of death.

But ¹  those who were at the table ²  with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”

But Jesus said to him, “Do not stop him, for whoever is not against you is for you.”

They ¹  brought him first to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year. ² 

When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple courts, ¹  he asked them for money. ² 

He ¹  found favor ²  with ³  God and asked that he could ⁴  find a dwelling place ⁵  for the house ⁶  of Jacob.

He found there a man named Aeneas who had been confined to a mattress for eight years because ¹  he was paralyzed.

Now ¹  send men to Joppa ²  and summon a man named Simon, ³  who is called Peter.
