just as the testimony about Christ has been confirmed among you –

“You are to put it in front of the curtain that is before the ark of the testimony (before the atonement lid that is over the testimony), where I will meet you.

But the Levites must camp around the tabernacle of the testimony, so that the Lord’s anger ¹  will not fall on the Israelite community. The Levites are responsible for the care ²  of the tabernacle of the testimony.”

You are to put the atonement lid on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place.

You are to place the ark of the testimony in it and shield the ark with the special curtain.

Then ¹  they said, “Why do we need further testimony? We have heard it ourselves ²  from his own lips!” ³ 

There is another ¹  who testifies about me, and I know the testimony he testifies about me is true.

Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

For here is the testimony about him: ¹  “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” ² 

Indeed, I will also make every effort that, after my departure, you have a testimony of these things. ¹ 

And this is the testimony: God ¹  has given us eternal life, ²  and this life is in his Son.

who then ¹  testified to everything that he saw concerning the word of God and the testimony about ²  Jesus Christ.

After ¹  these things I looked, and the temple (the tent ²  of the testimony) ³  was opened in heaven,

“You must not follow a crowd ¹  in doing evil things; ²  in a lawsuit you must not offer testimony that agrees with a crowd so as to pervert justice, ³ 

You are to put the atonement lid on top of the ark, and in the ark you are to put the testimony I am giving you.

the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the atonement lid that is on it, all the furnishings ¹  of the tent,

He gave Moses two tablets of testimony when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, tablets of stone written by the finger of God. ¹ 

You are to put ¹  the gold altar for incense in front of the ark of the testimony and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

He took the testimony and put it in the ark, attached the poles to the ark, and then put the atonement lid on the ark.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, hung ¹  the protecting curtain, ²  and shielded the ark of the testimony from view, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
