Many gave false testimony against him, but their testimony did not agree.

If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because ¹  this ²  is the testimony of God that ³  he has testified concerning his Son.

“You shall not give ¹  false testimony ²  against your neighbor.

You must not offer false testimony against another. ¹ 

Some stood up and gave this false testimony against him: ¹ 

Yet even on this point their testimony did not agree.

“If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true.

At the testimony of two or three witnesses they must be executed. They cannot be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.

Just as the Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron placed it before the Testimony ¹  for safekeeping. ² 

You are to put into the ark the testimony ¹  that I will give to you.

“With it you are to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony,

the ark of the testimony and its poles, and the atonement lid;

Then Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony. ¹ 

Do not completely deprive me of a truthful testimony, ¹  for I await your justice.

For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.

The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful. ¹ 

(I do not accept ¹  human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)

So the Pharisees ¹  objected, ²  “You testify about yourself; your testimony is not true!” ³ 

It is written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. ¹
