So in the same way at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.

so they too have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they too may now ¹  receive mercy.

One ¹  should think about us this way – as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. ¹ 

And our hope for you is steadfast because we know that as you share in ¹  our sufferings, so also you will share in ²  our comfort.

Are you so foolish? Although you began ¹  with ²  the Spirit, are you now trying to finish ³  by human effort? ⁴ 

But just as at that time the one born by natural descent ¹  persecuted the one born according to the Spirit, ²  so it is now.

Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

For you know quite well that the day of the Lord ¹  will come in the same way as a thief in the night. ² 

and for this reason he is obligated to make sin offerings for himself as well as for the people.

So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself.

Dear friends, if God so loved us, then ¹  we also ought to love one another. ² 

In the same way, there are also some among you who follow the teaching of the Nicolaitans. ¹ 

“In Bethlehem of Judea,” they said, “for it is written this way by the prophet:

So pray this way: ¹  Our Father ²  in heaven, may your name be honored, ³ 

In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad ¹  tree bears bad fruit.

As ¹  the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of the age.

In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that one of these little ones be lost.

It must not be this way among you! Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant,
