They did so, ¹  sending their financial aid ²  to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.

Therefore we are sending ¹  Judas and Silas ²  who will tell you these things themselves in person. ³ 

After ¹  they had spent some time there, ²  they were sent off in peace by the brothers to those who had sent them. ³ 

I have not taken advantage of you through anyone I have sent to you, have I? ¹ 

“Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. ¹ 

So ¹  he answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

And after agreeing with the workers for the standard wage, ¹  he sent them into his vineyard.

Finally he sent his son to them, ¹  saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

He sent his slaves ¹  to summon those who had been invited to the banquet, but they would not come.

He ¹  appointed twelve (whom he named apostles ² ), ³  so that they would be with him and he could send them to preach

He sent another, and that one they killed. This happened to many others, some of whom were beaten, others killed.

Then ¹  they sent some of the Pharisees ²  and Herodians ³  to trap him with his own words. ⁴ 

He ¹  sent messengers on ahead of him. ²  As they went along, ³  they entered a Samaritan village to make things ready in advance ⁴  for him,

Jesus ¹  sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover ²  for us to eat.” ³ 

So the sisters sent a message ¹  to Jesus, ²  “Lord, look, the one you love is sick.”

So Joseph sent a message ¹  and invited ²  his father Jacob and all his relatives to come, seventy-five people ³  in all.

But get up, ¹  go down, and accompany them without hesitation, ²  because I have sent them.”

You know ¹  the message ²  he sent to the people ³  of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace ⁴  through ⁵  Jesus Christ ⁶  (he is Lord ⁷  of all) –

At daybreak ¹  the magistrates ²  sent their police officers, ³  saying, “Release those men.”
