So then, because ¹  he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants ²  on his throne, ³ 

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, ¹  I will permit ²  him to eat from the tree of life that is ³  in the paradise of God.’ ⁴ 

And the Lord God ¹  said, “Who told you that you were naked? ²  Did you eat from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” ³ 

Six years you may sow your field, and six years you may prune your vineyard and gather the produce, ¹ 

And whatever first ripe fruit in their land they bring to the Lord will be yours; everyone who is ceremonially clean in your household may eat of it.

So I loathed all the fruit of ¹  my effort, ²  for which I worked so hard ³  on earth, ⁴  because ⁵  I must leave it ⁶  behind ⁷  in the hands of my successor. ⁸ 

Other seed fell among the thorns, ¹  and they grew up and choked it, ²  and it did not produce grain.

But ¹  other seed fell on good soil and produced grain, sprouting and growing; some yielded thirty times as much, some sixty, and some a hundred times.”

If the first portion ¹  of the dough offered is holy, then the whole batch is holy, and if the root is holy, so too are the branches. ² 

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, ¹  full of mercy and good fruit, ²  impartial, and not hypocritical. ³ 

During the seven years of abundance the land produced large, bountiful harvests. ¹ 

Your basket and your mixing bowl will be blessed.

Your basket and your mixing bowl will be cursed.

Indeed, ¹  let that night be barren; ²  let no shout of joy ³  penetrate ⁴  it!

They conceive ¹  trouble and bring forth evil; their belly ²  prepares deception.”

then let me sow ¹  and let another eat, and let my crops ²  be uprooted.

that ¹  Job speaks without knowledge and his words are without understanding. ² 

They crouch, they bear ¹  their young, they bring forth the offspring they have carried. ² 

The mountains will bring news of peace to the people, and the hills will announce justice. ¹ 

The reward ¹  which the righteous receive ²  is life; the recompense ³  which the wicked receive ⁴  is judgment. ⁵
