All ¹  these things are the beginning of birth pains.

The Word ¹  was with God in the beginning.

In the beginning ¹  God ²  created ³  the heavens and the earth. ⁴ 

An inheritance gained easily ¹  in the beginning will not be blessed ²  in the end. ³ 

But from the beginning of creation he ¹  made them male and female. ² 

and you also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

The Lord created ¹  me as the beginning ²  of his works, ³  before his deeds of long ago.

From eternity I was appointed, ¹  from the beginning, from before the world existed. ² 

Then I said, ¹  “Lord, from the very beginning you have been seated on your glorious throne on high. You are the place where we can find refuge.

The beginning of the gospel ¹  of Jesus Christ, ²  the Son of God. ³ 

Your beginning ¹  will seem so small, since your future will flourish. ² 

The beginning ¹  of wisdom is to fear the Lord, ²  and acknowledging ³  the Holy One ⁴  is understanding.

and repentance ¹  for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed ²  in his name to all nations, ³  beginning from Jerusalem. ⁴ 

In the beginning ¹  was the Word, and the Word was with God, ²  and the Word was fully God. ³ 

And, “You founded the earth in the beginning, Lord, ¹  and the heavens are the works of your hands.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end!) ¹ 

As for you, what you have heard from the beginning must remain ¹  in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

The end of a matter ¹  is better than its beginning; likewise, patience ²  is better than pride. ³ 

The Lord spoke to Jeremiah ²  at the beginning of the reign ³  of Josiah’s son, King Jehoiakim of Judah.

For ¹  this is the gospel ²  message ³  that you have heard from the beginning: that we should love one another, ⁴
