1 tn The two prefixed verbal forms with vav (ו) conjunctive indicate purpose/result after the introductory imperative.

2 tn Heb “goodness of taste.” Here “taste” refers to moral and ethical discernment.

3 tn Heb “for I believe in your commands.”

4 tn Heb “made me and established me.” The two verbs also appear together in Deut 32:6, where God, compared to a father, is said to have “made and established” Israel.

5 tn The cohortative verbal form with vav (ו) conjunctive indicates purpose/result after the preceding imperative.
