1 tn Heb “And your male slave and your female slave.” Smr has these as plural terms, “slaves,” not singular.

2 tn Heb “ from the nations which surround you, from them you shall buy male slave and female slave.”

3 tn Heb “and it shall be to him.”

4 tn Heb “And if redeeming [infinitive absolute] he redeems [finite verb] the field, the one who consecrated it.” For the infinitive absolute used to highlight contrast rather than emphasis see GKC 343 §113.p.

5 tn Heb “the silver of the conversion value.”
