Joshua 2:18

Context
2:18 When we invade the land 1 , tie this red rope 2  in the window through which you let us down, and gather together in your house your father, mother, brothers, and all who live in your father’s house. 3 

Joshua 7:2

Context

7:2 Joshua sent men from Jericho 4  to Ai (which is located near Beth Aven, east of Bethel 5 ) and instructed them, “Go up and spy on the land.” So the men went up and spied on Ai.

Joshua 14:4

14:4 The descendants of Joseph were considered as two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim. The Levites were allotted no territory, though they were assigned cities in which to live, along with the grazing areas for their cattle and possessions. 6

14:9 That day Moses made this solemn promise: 7  ‘Surely the land on which you walked 8  will belong to you and your descendants permanently, 9  for you remained loyal to the Lord your God.’

15:7 It then went up to Debir from the Valley of Achor, turning northward to Gilgal (which is opposite the Pass 10  of Adummim south of the valley), crossed to the waters of En Shemesh and extended to En Rogel.

Joshua 21:2

21:2 in Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said, “The Lord told Moses to assign us cities in which to live along with the grazing areas for our cattle.”

Joshua 22:9

Context
22:9 So the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites in Shiloh in the land of Canaan and headed home to their own land in Gilead, 15  which they acquired by the Lord’s command through Moses.

Joshua 22:33

Context
22:33 The Israelites were satisfied with their report and gave thanks to God. 16  They said nothing more about launching an attack to destroy the land in which the Reubenites and Gadites lived. 17 

Joshua 24:13

24:13 I gave you a land in 18  which you had not worked hard; you took up residence in cities you did not build and you are eating the produce of 19  vineyards and olive groves you did not plant.’
