Joshua 2:1

Context
Joshua Sends Spies into the Land

2:1 Joshua son of Nun sent two spies out from Shittim secretly and instructed them: 1  “Find out what you can about the land, especially Jericho.” 2  They stopped at the house of a prostitute named Rahab and spent the night there. 3 

Joshua 6:6

Context

6:6 So Joshua son of Nun summoned the priests and instructed them, “Pick up the ark of the covenant, and seven priests must carry seven rams’ horns in front of the ark of the Lord.”

6:10 Now Joshua had instructed the army, 4  “Do not give a battle cry 5  or raise your voices; say nothing 6  until the day I tell you, ‘Give the battle cry.’ 7  Then give the battle cry!” 8

7:2 Joshua sent men from Jericho 9  to Ai (which is located near Beth Aven, east of Bethel 10 ) and instructed them, “Go up and spy on the land.” So the men went up and spied on Ai.

13:6 I will drive out before the Israelites all who live in the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, 11  all the Sidonians; you be sure to parcel it out to Israel as I instructed you.” 12
