1:11 “Go through the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your supplies, for within three days you will cross the Jordan River and begin the conquest of the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to you.’” 1

16:1 The land allotted to Joseph’s descendants extended from the Jordan at Jericho 6  to the waters of Jericho to the east, through the desert and on up from Jericho into the hill country of Bethel. 7 

Joshua 18:8-9

Context

18:8 When the men started out, Joshua told those going to map out the land, “Go, walk through the land, map it out, and return to me. Then I will draw lots for you before the Lord here in Shiloh.” 18:9 The men journeyed 8  through the land and mapped it and its cities out into seven regions on a scroll. Then they came to Joshua at the camp in Shiloh.

Joshua 22:9

Context
22:9 So the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites in Shiloh in the land of Canaan and headed home to their own land in Gilead, 9  which they acquired by the Lord’s command through Moses.

Joshua 24:17

24:17 For the Lord our God took us and our fathers out of slavery 10  in the land of Egypt 11  and performed these awesome miracles 12  before our very eyes. He continually protected us as we traveled and when we passed through nations. 13
