Hebrews 1:5

Context
The Son Is Superior to Angels

1:5 For to which of the angels did God 1  ever say, “You are my son! Today I have fathered you”? 2  And in another place 3  he says, 4 I will be his father and he will be my son.” 5

5:7 During his earthly life 6  Christ 7  offered 8  both requests and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death and he was heard because of his devotion.
