Deuteronomy 9:4

Context
9:4 Do not think to yourself after the Lord your God has driven them out before you, “Because of my own righteousness the Lord has brought me here to possess this land.” It is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out ahead of you.

Deuteronomy 24:4

24:4 her first husband who divorced her is not permitted to remarry¹ her after she has become ritually impure, for that is offensive to the Lord.² You must not bring guilt on the land³ which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

Deuteronomy 31:20

31:20 For after I have brought them⁴ to the land I promised to their⁵ ancestors – one flowing with milk and honey – and they⁶ eat their fill⁷ and become fat, then they⁸ will turn to other gods and worship them; they will reject me and break my covenant.

Deuteronomy 31:29

31:29 For I know that after I die you will totally⁹ corrupt yourselves and turn away from the path I have commanded you to walk. Disaster will confront you in the days to come because you will act wickedly¹⁰ before the Lord, inciting him to anger because of your actions.”¹¹
