Deuteronomy 15:7

15:7 If a fellow Israelite 1  from one of your villages 2  in the land that the Lord your God is giving you should be poor, you must not harden your heart or be insensitive 3  to his impoverished condition. 4 

Deuteronomy 20:8

20:8 In addition, the officers are to say to the troops, “Who among you is afraid and fainthearted? He may go home so that he will not make his fellow soldier’s 5  heart as fearful 6  as his own.”

Deuteronomy 28:65

Context
28:65 Among those nations you will have no rest nor will there be a place of peaceful rest for the soles of your feet, for there the Lord will give you an anxious heart, failing eyesight, and a spirit of despair.

Deuteronomy 30:6

30:6 The Lord your God will also cleanse 7  your heart and the hearts of your descendants 8  so that you may love him 9  with all your mind and being and so that you may live.
