5:17 Naaman said, “If not, then please give your servant a load of dirt, enough for a pair of mules to carry, 1  for your servant will never again offer a burnt offering or sacrifice to a god other than the Lord. 2

15:35 But the high places were not eliminated; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense on the high places. He built the Upper Gate to the Lord’s temple.

2 Kings 17:35-36

17:35 The Lord made an agreement 4  with them 5  and instructed them, “You must not worship other gods. Do not bow down to them, serve them, or offer sacrifices to them. 17:36 Instead you must worship the Lord, who brought you up from the land of Egypt by his great power and military ability; 6  bow down to him and offer sacrifices to him.
