Context8:64 That day the king consecrated the middle of the courtyard that is in front of the Lord’s temple. He offered there burnt sacrifices, grain offerings, and the fat from the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that stood before the Lord was too small to hold all these offerings. 1

Context12:32 Jeroboam inaugurated a festival on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, 2 like the festival celebrated in Judah. 3 On the altar in Bethel he offered sacrifices to the calves he had made. 4 In Bethel he also appointed priests for the high places he had made.
1 Kings 13:2
Context13:2 With the authority of the Lord 5 he cried out against the altar, “O altar, altar! This is what the Lord says, ‘Look, a son named Josiah will be born to the Davidic dynasty. He will sacrifice on you the priests of the high places who offer sacrifices on you. Human bones will be burned on you.’” 6
