1 Kings 4:27

Context
4:27 The district governors acquired supplies for King Solomon and all who ate in his royal palace. 1  Each was responsible for one month in the year; they made sure nothing was lacking.

1 Kings 13:22

13:22 You went back and ate and drank in this place, even though he said to you, “Do not eat or drink there.” 2  Therefore 3  your corpse will not be buried in your ancestral tomb.’” 4 

1 Kings 19:6

19:6 He looked and right there by his head was a cake baking on hot coals and a jug of water. He ate and drank and then slept some more. 5 

1 Kings 19:8

Context
19:8 So he got up and ate and drank. That meal gave him the strength to travel forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.

1 tn Heb “everyone who drew near to the table of King Solomon.”

2 tn Heb “and you returned and ate food and drank water in the place about which he said to you, ‘do not eat food and do not drink water.’”

4 tn Heb “will not go to the tomb of your fathers.”
