Context
12:18 King Rehoboam sent Adoniram,¹ the supervisor of the work crews,² out after them, but all Israel stoned him to death. King Rehoboam managed to jump into his chariot and escape to Jerusalem.³

1 Kings 18:40

Context
18:40 Elijah told them, “Seize the prophets of Baal! Don’t let even one of them escape!” So they seized them, and Elijah led them down to the Kishon Valley and executed⁴ them there.
