1 Chronicles 2:4-8

2:4 Tamar, Judah’s¹ daughter-in-law, bore to him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.

2:5 The sons of Perez:

Hezron and Hamul.

2:6 The sons of Zerah:

Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Kalkol, Dara² – five in all.

2:7 The son³ of Carmi:

Achan,⁴ who brought the disaster on Israel when he stole what was devoted to God.⁵

2:8 The son⁶ of Ethan:

Azariah.

¹tn Heb “his”; the referent (Judah) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

²tc Many medieval Hebrew mss, some LXX mss, and Syriac read “Darda” (see 1 Kgs 4:31 ET = 1 Kgs 5:11 HT).

³tn Heb “sons.” The Hebrew text has the plural, but only one son is listed.

⁴tc The Hebrew text has “Achar,” which means “disaster,” but a few medieval Hebrew mss read “Achan.” See Josh 7:1.

start	search for verses that contains words that start with the search words	"fis" will search for verses that contains words start with "fis", the result will be "fish", "fishing", "fisherman", etc
similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
