Isaiah 36:2

36:2 The king of Assyria sent his chief adviser 1  from Lachish to King Hezekiah in Jerusalem, 2  along with a large army. The chief adviser 3  stood at the conduit of the upper pool which is located on the road to the field where they wash and dry cloth. 4 

Isaiah 36:12

36:12 But the chief adviser said, “My master did not send me to speak these words only to your master and to you. 5  His message is also for the men who sit on the wall, for they will eat their own excrement and drink their own urine along with you!” 6 

Isaiah 42:16

42:16 I will lead the blind along an unfamiliar way; 7 

I will guide them down paths they have never traveled. 8 

I will turn the darkness in front of them into light,

and level out the rough ground. 9 

This is what I will do for them.

I will not abandon them.

Isaiah 60:9

60:9 Indeed, the coastlands 10  look eagerly for me,

the large ships 11  are in the lead,

bringing your sons from far away,

along with their silver and gold,

to honor the Lord your God, 12 

the Holy One of Israel, 13  for he has bestowed honor on you.
