2:1 Then we turned and set out toward the desert land on the way to the Red Sea ¹  just as the Lord told me to do, detouring around Mount Seir for a long time.

Deuteronomy 11:24

11:24 Every place you set your foot ²  will be yours; your border will extend from the desert to Lebanon and from the River (that is, the Euphrates) as far as the Mediterranean Sea. ³ 

Deuteronomy 33:19

33:19 They will summon peoples to the mountain,

there they will sacrifice proper ⁴  sacrifices;

for they will enjoy ⁵  the abundance of the seas,

and the hidden treasures of the shores. ⁶
