Miamin [EBD]
=Mijamin, from the right hand. (1.) The head of one of the divisions of the priests (1 Chr. 24:9).
(2.) A chief priest who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel (Neh. 12:5), called Mijamin (10:7) and Miniamin (12:17).

MIAMIN1. A Jew who divorced his Gentile wife after the captivity, Ezra 10:25.
2. A priest who returned with Zerubbabel from Babylon, Neh. 12:5.
MIAMIN [SMITH]
(from the right hand).- A layman of Israel who had married a foreign wife and put her away at the bidding of Ezra. (Ezra 10:25)
- A priest or family of priests who went up from Babylon with Zerubbabel. (Nehemiah 12:5)
