Titus 2:8

and a sound message that cannot be criticized, so that any opponent will be at a loss, ¹  because he has nothing evil to say about us.

and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.

sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

Let your teaching be so correct that it can’t be criticized. Then those who want to argue will be ashamed because they won’t have anything bad to say about us.

your words solid and sane. Then anyone who is dead set against us, when he finds nothing weird or misguided, might eventually come around.

Saying true and right words, against which no protest may be made, so that he who is not on our side may be put to shame, unable to say any evil of us.
