Joshua 10:35

That day they captured it and put the sword to all who lived there. That day they ¹  annihilated it just as they ²  had done to Lachish.

They captured it that same day and put it to the sword and totally destroyed everyone in it, just as they had done to Lachish.

They captured it on that day and struck it with the edge of the sword; and he utterly destroyed that day every person who was in it, according to all that he had done to Lachish.
