Genesis 26:13

The man became wealthy. ¹  His influence continued to grow ²  until he became very prominent.

The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.

and the man became rich, and continued to grow richer until he became very wealthy;

He became a rich man, and his wealth only continued to grow.

The man got richer and richer by the day until he was very wealthy.

And his wealth became very great, increasing more and more;

and the man became rich; he prospered more and more until he became very wealthy.

The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;

The man became wealthy. ¹  His influence continued to grow ²  until he became very prominent.

¹ tn Heb “great.” In this context the statement refers primarily to Isaac’s material wealth, although reputation and influence are included.

² tn Heb “and he went, going and becoming great.” The construction stresses that his growth in possessions and power continued steadily.
