Psalms 83:14

Like the fire that burns down the forest, or the flames that consume the mountainsides, ¹ 

As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,

Like fire that burns the forest And like a flame that sets the mountains on fire,

As a fire roars through a forest and as a flame sets mountains ablaze,

charred sticks in the burned-over ground.

As fire burning a wood, and as a flame causing fire on the mountains,

As fire consumes the forest, as the flame sets the mountains ablaze,

As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,

Like the fire that burns down the forest, or the flames that consume the mountainsides, ¹ 

¹ sn The imagery of fire and flames suggests unrelenting, destructive judgment.
