Psalms 72:2

Then he will judge ¹  your people fairly, and your oppressed ones ²  equitably.

He will judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.

May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.

Help him judge your people in the right way; let the poor always be treated fairly.

May he judge your people rightly, be honorable to your meek and lowly.

May he be a judge of your people in righteousness, and make true decisions for the poor.

May he judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.

He will judge Your people with righteousness, And Your poor with justice.

Then he will judge ¹  your people fairly, and your oppressed ones ²  equitably.

¹ tn The prefixed verbal form appears to be an imperfect, not a jussive.

² sn These people are called God’s oppressed ones because he is their defender (see Pss 9:12, 18; 10:12; 12:5).
