Numbers 17:7

Then Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony. ¹ 

Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.

So Moses deposited the rods before the LORD in the tent of the testimony.

Moses put the staffs in the LORD’s presence in the Tabernacle of the Covenant.

Moses laid out the staffs before GOD in the Tent of Testimony.

And Moses put the rods before the Lord in the Tent of witness.

So Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the tent of the covenant.

And Moses placed the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.

Then Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony. ¹ 

¹ tn The name of the tent now attests to the centrality of the ark of the covenant. Instead of the “tent of meeting” (מוֹעֵד, mo’ed) we now find the “the tent of the testimony” (הָעֵדֻת, ha’edut).
