Mark 2:24

So ¹  the Pharisees ²  said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is against the law on the Sabbath?”

The Pharisees said to him, "Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?"

The Pharisees were saying to Him, "Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?"

But the Pharisees said to Jesus, "They shouldn’t be doing that! It’s against the law to work by harvesting grain on the Sabbath."

As his disciples made a path, they pulled off heads of grain. The Pharisees told on them to Jesus: "Look, your disciples are breaking Sabbath rules!"

And the Pharisees said to him, Why are they doing what it is not right to do on the Sabbath?

The Pharisees said to him, "Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the sabbath?"

And the Pharisees said to Him, "Look, why do they do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?"

So ¹  the Pharisees ²  said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is against the law on the Sabbath?”

¹ tn Grk “And.” Here καί (kai) has been translated as “so” to indicate the implied result of previous action(s) in the narrative.
