Mark 10:28

Peter began to speak to him, “Look, ¹  we have left everything to follow you!” ² 

Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!"

Peter began to say to Him, "Behold, we have left everything and followed You."

Then Peter began to mention all that he and the other disciples had left behind. "We’ve given up everything to follow you," he said.

Peter tried another angle: "We left everything and followed you."

Peter said to him, See, we have given up everything, and come after you.

Peter began to say to him, "Look, we have left everything and followed you."

Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You."

Peter began to speak to him, “Look, ¹  we have left everything to follow you!” ² 

¹ sn Peter wants reassurance that the disciples’ response and sacrifice has been noticed.

² tn Grk “We have left everything and followed you.” Koine Greek often used paratactic structure when hypotactic was implied.
