Luke 19:39

But ¹  some of the Pharisees ²  in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” ³ 

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!"

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, "Teacher, rebuke Your disciples."

But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, "Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!"

Some Pharisees from the crowd told him, "Teacher, get your disciples under control!"

And some of the Pharisees among the people said to him, Master, make your disciples be quiet.

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, order your disciples to stop."

And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, "Teacher, rebuke Your disciples."

But ¹  some of the Pharisees ²  in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” ³ 

¹ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “but” to indicate the contrast present in this context. Not all present are willing to join in the acclamation.

³ sn Teacher, rebuke your disciples. The Pharisees were complaining that the claims were too great.
