John 7:47

Then the Pharisees answered, ¹  “You haven’t been deceived too, have you? ² 

"You mean he has deceived you also?" the Pharisees retorted.

The Pharisees then answered them, "You have not also been led astray, have you?

"Have you been led astray, too?" the Pharisees mocked.

The Pharisees said, "Are you carried away like the rest of the rabble?

Then the Pharisees said to them, Have you, like the others, been given false ideas?

Then the Pharisees replied, "Surely you have not been deceived too, have you?

Then the Pharisees answered them, "Are you also deceived?

Then the Pharisees answered, ¹  “You haven’t been deceived too, have you? ² 

¹ tn Grk “answered them.”

² tn Questions prefaced with μή (mh) in Greek anticipate a negative answer. This can sometimes be indicated by using a “tag” at the end in English (here the tag is “have you?”).
