Hebrews 11:18

God had told him, “Through Isaac descendants will carry on your name,” ¹ 

even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned."

it was he to whom it was said, "IN ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS SHALL BE CALLED."

though God had promised him, "Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted."

and this after he had already been told, "Your descendants shall come from Isaac."

Of whom it had been said, From Isaac will your seed take their name:
