Genesis 33:12

Then Esau ¹  said, “Let’s be on our way! ²  I will go in front of you.”

Then Esau said, "Let us be on our way; I’ll accompany you."

Then Esau said, "Let us take our journey and go, and I will go before you."

"Well, let’s be going," Esau said. "I will stay with you and lead the way."

Then Esau said, "Let's start out on our way; I'll take the lead."

And he said, Let us go on our journey together, and I will go in front.

Then Esau said, "Let us journey on our way, and I will go alongside you."

Then Esau said, "Let us take our journey; let us go, and I will go before you."

Then Esau ¹  said, “Let’s be on our way! ²  I will go in front of you.”

¹ tn Heb “and he”; the referent (Esau) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

² tn Heb “let us travel and let us go.” The two cohortatives are used in combination with the sense, “let’s travel along, get going, be on our way.”
