Genesis 27:8

Now then, my son, do ¹  exactly what I tell you! ² 

Now, my son, listen carefully and do what I tell you:

"Now therefore, my son, listen to me as I command you.

Now, my son, do exactly as I tell you.

"Now, my son, listen to me. Do what I tell you.

Now, my son, do what I say.

Now therefore, my son, obey my word as I command you.

"Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to what I command you.

Now then, my son, do ¹  exactly what I tell you! ² 

¹ tn Heb “listen to my voice.” The Hebrew idiom means “to comply; to obey.”

² tn Heb “to that which I am commanding you.”
