Galatians 3:5

Does God then give ¹  you the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law ²  or by your believing what you heard? ³ 

Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard?

So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law of Moses? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.

Answer this question: Does the God who lavishly provides you with his own presence, his Holy Spirit, working things in your lives you could never do for yourselves, does he do these things because of your strenuous moral striving [or] because you trust him to do them in you?

He who gives you the Spirit, and does works of power among you, is it by the works of law, or by the hearing of faith?

Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? ––

Does God then give ¹  you the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law ²  or by your believing what you heard? ³
