Deuteronomy 33:14

with the harvest produced by the daylight ¹  and by ²  the moonlight; ³ 

with the best the sun brings forth and the finest the moon can yield;

And with the choice yield of the sun, And with the choice produce of the months.

with the riches that grow in the sun, and the bounty produced each month;

The best radiance streaming from the sun and the best the moon has to offer;

And the good things of the fruits of the sun, and the good things of the growth of the moons,

with the choice fruits of the sun, and the rich yield of the months;

With the precious fruits of the sun, With the precious produce of the months,

with the harvest produced by the daylight ¹  and by ²  the moonlight; ³ 

¹ tn Heb “goings forth of the sun.”

² tn Heb “and from the harvest of the yield of.” This has been simplified in the translation to avoid redundancy.

³ tn Heb “the moon.” Many English versions regard this as a reference to “months” (“moons”) rather than the moon itself (cf. NAB, NASB, NRSV, NLT).
