But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing,

earrings, bracelets, veils,

Like a slice of pomegranate is your forehead ¹  behind your veil.

but when one ¹  turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. ² 

She left immediately, ¹  removed her veil, and put on her widow’s clothes.

When Moses finished ¹  speaking ²  with them, he would ³  put a veil on his face.

But until this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds, ¹ 

garments, vests, head coverings, and gowns. ¹ 

You are to hang this curtain under the clasps and bring the ark of the testimony in there behind the curtain. ¹  The curtain will make a division for you between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. ² 

the ark, with its poles, the atonement lid, and the special curtain that conceals it;

You are to place the ark of the testimony in it and shield the ark with the special curtain.

And he put the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the curtain,

And after the second curtain there was a tent called the holy of holies.

When the Israelites would see ¹  the face of Moses, that ²  the skin of Moses’ face shone, Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with the Lord. ³ 

Your lips are like a scarlet thread; ¹  your mouth is lovely. Your forehead ²  behind your veil is like a slice of pomegranate.

and not like Moses who used to put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites ¹  from staring ²  at the result ³  of the glory that was made ineffective. ⁴ 

and the coverings of ram skins dyed red, the covering of fine leather, ¹  and the protecting ²  curtain;

And the temple curtain ¹  was torn in two, from top to bottom.

But their minds were closed. ¹  For to this very day, the same veil remains when they hear the old covenant read. ²  It has not been removed because only in Christ is it taken away. ³ 

Pick up millstones and grind flour! Remove your veil, strip off your skirt, expose your legs, cross the streams!
