They provide water for all the animals in the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst.

In that day your ¹  beautiful young women ²  and your ³  young men will faint from thirst. ⁴ 

They put bitter poison ¹  into my food, and to quench my thirst they give me vinegar to drink. ² 

They press out the olive oil between the rows of olive trees; ¹  they tread the winepresses while they are thirsty. ²

ד (Dalet) The infant’s tongue sticks to the roof of its mouth due to thirst; little children beg for bread, ¹  but no one gives them even a morsel. ² 

They do not thirst as he leads them through dry regions; he makes water flow out of a rock for them; he splits open a rock and water flows out.’ ¹

in hard work and toil, ¹  through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, many times without food, in cold and without enough clothing. ² 

Hezekiah says, “The Lord our God will rescue us from the power ¹  of the king of Assyria.” But he is misleading you and you will die of hunger and thirst! ²
