Hezekiah said, “Now you have consecrated yourselves 1 to the Lord. Come and bring sacrifices and thank offerings 2 to the Lord’s temple.” So the assembly brought sacrifices and thank offerings, and whoever desired to do so 3 brought burnt sacrifices.
He erected the altar of the Lord and offered on it peace offerings and thank offerings. He told the people of 1 Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel.
I will present a thank offering to you, and call on the name of the Lord.
Present to God a thank-offering! Repay your vows to the sovereign One! 1
Let them present thank offerings, and loudly proclaim what he has done! 1
If he presents it on account of thanksgiving, 1 along with the thank offering sacrifice he must present unleavened loaves mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers smeared with olive oil, 2 and well soaked 3 ring-shaped loaves made of choice wheat flour 4 mixed with olive oil.
Then people will come here from the towns in Judah, from the villages surrounding Jerusalem, from the territory of Benjamin, from the western foothills, from the southern hill country, and from the southern part of Judah. They will come bringing offerings to the temple of the Lord: burnt offerings, sacrifices, grain offerings, and incense along with their thank offerings. 1
Once again there will be sounds 1 of joy and gladness and the glad celebrations of brides and grooms. 2 Once again people will bring their thank offerings to the temple of the Lord and will say, “Give thanks to the Lord who rules over all. For the Lord is good and his unfailing love lasts forever.” 3 For I, the Lord, affirm 4 that I will restore the land to what it was 5 in days of old.’ 6
When you sacrifice a thanksgiving offering to the Lord, you must sacrifice it so that it is acceptable for your benefit. 1
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give him thanks! Praise his name!
And after taking the cup and giving thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you,

Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and Levites to do their assigned tasks 1 – to offer burnt sacrifices and present offerings and to serve, give thanks, and offer praise in the gates of the Lord’s sanctuary. 2
When the prescribed period is over, 1 on the eighth day and thereafter the priests will offer up on the altar your burnt offerings and your peace offerings; 2 I will accept you, declares the sovereign Lord.”
and one sheep from each flock of two hundred, from the watered places of Israel, for a grain offering, burnt offering, and peace offering, to make atonement for them, declares the sovereign Lord.
