But in those sacrifices ¹  there is a reminder of sins year after year.

to proclaim the year ¹  of the Lord’s favor.” ² 

Now ¹  Jesus’ ²  parents went to Jerusalem ³  every ⁴  year for the feast of the Passover. ⁵ 

So he stayed there ¹  a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them. ² 

And he did not enter to offer ¹  himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the sanctuary year after year with blood that is not his own,

For the law possesses a shadow of the good things to come but not the reality itself, and is therefore completely unable, by the same sacrifices offered continually, year after year, to perfect those who come to worship. ¹ 

Then if ¹  it bears fruit next year, ²  very well, ³  but if ⁴  not, you can cut it down.’”

Then one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said, ¹  “You know nothing at all!

But the worker ¹  answered him, ‘Sir, leave it alone this year too, until I dig around it and put fertilizer ²  on it.

They ¹  brought him first to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year. ² 

For this is what the promise declared: ¹  “About a year from now ²  I will return and Sarah will have a son.” ³

So here is my opinion on this matter: It is to your advantage, since you ¹  made a good start last year both in your giving and your desire to give,
