Why too are we in danger every hour?

Then ¹  he said to them, “Why are you frightened, ²  and why do doubts ³  arise in your hearts?

The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

When Jesus saw their reaction he said, “Why do you respond with evil in your hearts?

Then ¹  the disciples came to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

He answered them, ¹  “And why do you disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?

But Jesus realized their evil intentions and said, “Hypocrites! Why are you testing me?

When ¹  the disciples saw this, they became indignant and said, “Why this waste?

He asked, “Why? What wrong has he done?” But they shouted more insistently, “Crucify him!”

And he said to them, “Why are you cowardly? Do you still not have faith?”

But some who were present indignantly said to one another, “Why this waste of expensive ¹  ointment?

Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “Why do we still need witnesses?

Pilate asked them, “Why? What has he done wrong?” But they shouted more insistently, “Crucify him!”

“Why ¹  do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ ²  and don’t do what I tell you? ³ 

“And ¹  why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?

If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ just say, ‘The Lord needs ¹  it.’”

As ¹  they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, ²  “Why are you untying that colt?”

Jesus replied, ¹  “Woman, ²  why are you saying this to me? ³  My time ⁴  has not yet come.”

(Now none of those present at the table ¹  understood ²  why Jesus ³  said this to Judas. ⁴ 

Why do you people ¹  think ²  it is unbelievable ³  that ⁴  God raises the dead?
