When that time comes, ¹  sing about a delightful vineyard! ² 

I ¹  will sing to my love – a song to my lover about his vineyard. ²  My love had a vineyard on a fertile hill. ³

After this the following episode took place. ¹  Naboth the Jezreelite owned a vineyard in Jezreel adjacent to the palace of King Ahab of Samaria. ² 

When Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, ¹  he got up and went down to take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

¹ “You say, ²  ‘He is foam ³  on the face of the waters; ⁴  their portion of the land is cursed so that no one goes to their vineyard. ⁵
