and they went on to another village.

Jesus ¹  sent him home, saying, “Do not even go into the village.” ² 

Whenever ¹  you enter a town or village, ²  find out who is worthy there ³  and stay with them ⁴  until you leave.

As ¹  he was entering ²  a village, ten men with leprosy ³  met him. They ⁴  stood at a distance,

So they approached the village where they were going. He acted as though he wanted to go farther, ¹ 

He ¹  sent messengers on ahead of him. ²  As they went along, ³  they entered a Samaritan village to make things ready in advance ⁴  for him,

Now as they went on their way, Jesus ¹  entered a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him as a guest. ² 

Now ¹  that very day two of them ²  were on their way to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles ³  from Jerusalem. ⁴ 

Don’t the scriptures say that the Christ is a descendant ¹  of David ²  and comes from Bethlehem, ³  the village where David lived?” ⁴ 

Now a certain man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village where Mary and her sister Martha lived. ¹ 

(Now Jesus had not yet entered the village, but was still in the place where Martha had come out to meet him.)

telling them, “Go to the village ahead of you. ¹  Right away you will find a donkey tied there, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

He took the blind man by the hand and brought him outside of the village. Then ¹  he spit on his eyes, placed his hands on his eyes ²  and asked, “Do you see anything?”

and said to them, “Go to the village ahead of you. ¹  As soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there that has never been ridden. ²  Untie it and bring it here.

telling them, ¹  “Go to the village ahead of you. ²  When ³  you enter it, you will find a colt tied there that has never been ridden. ⁴  Untie it and bring it here.

Now on ¹  one of those days, while he was teaching, there were Pharisees ²  and teachers of the law ³  sitting nearby (who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem), ⁴  and the power of the Lord was with him ⁵  to heal.
