His bones ¹  were full of his youthful vigor, ²  but that vigor will lie down with him in the dust.

“One man dies in his full vigor, ¹  completely secure and prosperous,

lest you give your vigor ¹  to others and your years to a cruel person,

In the womb he attacked his brother; in his manly vigor he struggled ¹  with God.

then his flesh is restored ¹  like a youth’s; he returns to the days of his youthful vigor. ² 

We will swallow them alive ¹  like Sheol, ²  those full of vigor ³  like those going down to the Pit.

I alone was left to see this great vision. My strength drained from ¹  me, and my vigor disappeared; ²  I was without energy. ³
