Greet Mary, who has worked very hard for you.

But when the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. ¹ 

Immediately Jesus ¹  sent the man ²  away with a very strong warning.

He took Peter, James, ¹  and John with him, and became very troubled and distressed.

But when the man ¹  heard this he became very sad, ²  for he was extremely wealthy.

He answered, ¹  “I tell you, if they ²  keep silent, the very stones ³  will cry out!”

and said to Jesus, ¹  “Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of adultery.

But until this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds, ¹ 

Therefore be very careful how you live – not as unwise but as wise,

I have sent ¹  him (who is my very heart) ²  back to you.

I especially ask you to pray ¹  that I may be restored to you very soon.

For this very reason, ¹  make every effort ²  to add to your faith excellence, ³  to excellence, knowledge;

“The one who is faithful in a very little ¹  is also faithful in much, and the one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

But ¹  when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled back.

But they did not have a child, because Elizabeth was barren, ¹  and they were both very old. ² 

As ¹  he was praying, ²  the appearance of his face was transformed, ³  and his clothes became very bright, a brilliant white. ⁴ 

So if ¹  you cannot do such a very little thing as this, why do you worry about ²  the rest?

I tell you, you will never get out of there until you have paid the very last cent!” ¹
