“Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”

For she kept saying to herself, ¹  “If only I touch his cloak, I will be healed.” ² 

for she kept saying, ¹  “If only I touch his clothes, I will be healed.” ² 

They begged him if ¹  they could only touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

Then ¹  they came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to Jesus ²  and asked him to touch him.

Now ¹  people were bringing little children to him for him to touch, ²  but the disciples scolded those who brought them. ³ 

The ¹  whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power ²  was coming out from him and healing them all.

For he had healed many, so that all who were afflicted with diseases pressed toward him in order to touch him.

Now people ¹  were even bringing their babies ²  to him for him to touch. ³  But when the disciples saw it, they began to scold those who brought them. ⁴ 

Look at my hands and my feet; it’s me! ¹  Touch me and see; a ghost ²  does not have flesh and bones like you see I have.”

Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch no unclean thing, ¹  and I will welcome ²  you, ³ 

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, ¹  so that the one who destroyed the firstborn would not touch them.

We know that everyone fathered ¹  by God does not sin, but God ²  protects ³  the one he has fathered, and the evil one cannot touch him.

And wherever he would go – into villages, towns, or countryside – they would place the sick in the marketplaces, and would ask him if ¹  they could just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

But Jesus ¹  replied, ²  “Woe to you experts in religious law as well! ³  You load people ⁴  down with burdens difficult to bear, yet you yourselves refuse to touch ⁵  the burdens with even one of your fingers!

Jesus replied, ¹  “Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father. Go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
